Osu sensitivity calculator

JSCalc Blog. As an Overwatch player, you look for ways to gain an edge on the competition. Of course, this should be done without cheating, and should be as ethical as possible. The most ethical way to gain an edge in Overwatch is by changing your mouse or controller sensitivity.

This guide will show you how to do exactly that. If you already know about sensitivities, scroll to the bottom of the article and for the sensitivity calculator. Setting to an exact sensitivity can help players progress their firing precision and help players react to opponents quickly.

The name of the game is speed, and the best players have it. If a player makes an error in selecting sensitivity settings it can stop them from ever becoming a top tier player. On the game menu you will be able to set your sensitivity.

And your Y sensitivity sets the speed of your camera when moving your mouse in the vertical Up-Down axis. Your X sensitivity sets the speed of your camera when moving your mouse in the horizontal Left-Right axis. Though you can do what you like if you think it will help you. Below we have dropped a link to a calculator which computes the optimum sensitivity to use in overwatch.

Overwatch Sensitivity Calculator. Overwatch Sensitivity Calculator Why is sensitivity important in Overwatch? Message From The Creator.I've made the development version of the calculator available, there you can find osu! Check the 4. Note that osu!

View full update. That would be a big help please! As It is a good game to aim train but It needs to be the same sens as the fps games I play such as csgo and bf4. This would be awesome. I know a lot of fps gamers use osu for aim training but all that practise in osu means nothing if your dpi isn't the same. Bump, this would be amazing! This really would be amazing.

So is it possible? Because your post was so long ago and it still hasn't been added so I'm guessing there is a problem. This is highly requested and doable, so I will do it! I need to make a whole new calculator for it though, as it can't be integrated into the existing I think. It's high up on my todo list, but since there's quite a bit of programming to be done it will take a little time. Without making any promises, I'll say months! Then again I might start working on it this weekend and get it ready in a week But it shall be done!

You guys know best, so give me some feedback and I'll make it. Any update on how things are going? I've come back here like everyday to check if anything has happened xD. Most players use windowed mode and instead of changing mouse sensitivity they change resolution or DPI of their mouse so the pixels moved stays the same as on their desktop.

It's just a little time-consuming, not at all impossible. It's all about priorities, but I've finished most other tasks ahead of it now. And no matter what you do, the sens on desktop is gonna feel alot faster than in an fps game due to the fact that the calculator goes in degrees "One side of the desktop, to the other side with 1 monitor". I'm working on this right now, and will add it as a whole new calculator, because it really doesn't fit the current layout.

The desktop calculator doesn't really work for osu since it uses FOV to calculate total distance, which is irrelevant for osu. To be fair, it could actually be pretty fun to get a calculator, that can do a ratio with Mousepad to Monitor, if you put in the cm and such. Or just as close as possible, as most mouse can only do increments of 50 or DPI.

That's exactly what I'm doing, making one mode for mouse to monitor ratio, and one for distance to move the cursor across the screen. Always one step ahead of me. I will also make a converter from osu to any game supported, which will work kinda like the desktop calculator.

Keep up your good work there are so many of us users out there and if it wasnt for you we would be stuck with a shitty ruler, constantly back and forth in the games settings. I have recently switched to a lower sens in my main game csgo. Using OSU as a warm up for me before competition matches really helps.

osu! godmode Compilation (Cookiezi, Rafis, Angelsim,HappyStick, Woey)

I used to use dpi and 52cm for csgo and 1x slider for osu. Now I have switched to dpi 62cm and 1x slider in osu. The diffrence for me is amazing i just feel like dpi is perfect for the desktop at 1x osu. Give it ago guys if you are a low sens player like me and have a massive 42cm mouse pad. I know the calculatons are sort of hard to work out as in osu comapred to csgo a "fps" you have fov with csgo and osu is a fixed screen.By Southpaw Started 2 hours ago.

It's a pretty handy resource for calculating sensitivity in a butt ton of different games, but with the added benefit of being able to convert your sens from one game to another.

It works, but assumes you use raw mouse input as you always should if availablewhich means Windows Pointer Speed does not affect your sensitivity. Even if you were to set it so that one tf2 would be equivalent to dragging your cursor from one edge of the screen to the other, it probably wouldn't feel the same.

Depending on the game you may have to get a premium account to convert the sensitivity However, most games do have calculators available somewhere, and it seems Source games are a kind of sensitivity standard now. A possible option would be if someone from TF. TV had a premium account and made a request thread. People could make a request for a game with their sens options and whoever had the premium account could fulfill the requests and post the results. I don't know if having a premium account on that website has any terms and conditions against doing that sort of thing though.

Use with your mouse pad to measure the inches you must move your mouse to perform a in one game, then adjust sensitivity in the other game till you get it to match.

I know nobody likes to spend 5 minutes on something tedious, but it's really not much more difficult, and none of the calculators will be exact; honestly, it's worth checking if they got it right if you used one.
